Subject: Apology and declaration of new date.

Dear Friends, We are very sorry to inform you that the scheduled date of “2nd Kathmandu Open International GM Chess Tournament 2019” has been changed by technical reason. We apologize to those participants who has confirmed their registration and still who is doing request.

It is almost last hour, so we believe that almost all the participants had booked their Air/train/bus tickets too. It seems unpleasant to say postponement of the event, but we have declared the new date for the same. Event will be held from 1-7 November 2019 on two category, "A" for 2000+ rated and "B" for below 2000 and unrated. Total cash prizes will be extended to 15 lakhs rupees from 12 lakhs rupees. We will give priority to those who has confirmed their participation for May. We convinced to those participants who already deposited amount to us will be refunded or kept till the event on their wish.

We have a bigg loss on this postponement and many of you too. We cannot say we will reimbursement of your loss, but we will try to give more facility on new schedule. So, we request you all to re-scheduled your trip and wait for more details too.
